We took our kids to see the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Eden and it was so fascinating. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sure I would like to ride in one (terribly afraid of heights) but it was very fun to watch them all launch and float into the sky.
We made and painted with sidewalk chalk paint today. (Food coloring, water, and corn starch). The kids both loved it!
New books for filling up their summer reading chart of reading 100 books! (Well technically Mom reading them 100 books).
We try to make it to Pineview at least a couple of times every Summer. I hope our kids will have lots of fun memories from our days spent swimming and playing on the beach here.
We moved Peter into Claire's room with her shortly after we transitioned him to his big bed. He loves having someone in his room with him and sleeps so much better now. Small victories.
