Snow Day

Snow day! Claire and Peter both love playing in the snow. This winter has been so much fun with them. We built a snowman and snow cave after the last storm. I had to finally convince them to come inside for hot chocolate when they were soaked through their snow pants!

Claire's 5th Birthday

Claire Olivia turned 5 years old on January 19th!  She requested a Unicorn Party this year.  We celebrated her birthday on Saturday first by taking her to get her ears pierced.  She was so excited and so brave.  She didn't even cry!

After getting her ears pierced she wanted to eat at chic-fil-a.  We  took her and Peter to a late lunch/dinner at chic-fil-a and let them play at the play place as long as they wanted.

After chic-fil-a it was time for her party. We went back to our house and had a little party for her with grandparents and my sister's family.  She mostly excited for her cousin Lydia to come.  We gave Claire a new scooter, a pink tutu skirt, and the book The Magical Unicorn Society Handbook.  I think she had a great birthday.  I can't believe we have a big 5 year old now.  It feels so much bigger than 4 years old, like officially a big kid!

Christmas 2018

Christmas 2018. Christmas was so much fun this year!  Every year holidays with our kids keep getting better and better.  Claire's gifts this year were want: Castle Magformers wear: unicorn sweater need: pink helmet read: Uni the Unicorn book. Claire also got a unicorn stuffy from Rory, a little pink guitar from Peter, and stocking stuffers.  Peter's gifts were want: balance bike wear: dragon sweater need: black helmet read: The Knight and Dragon book.  Peter also got a dragon stuffy from Rory and a little guitar from Claire, and stocking stuffers.  We also surprised the kids with a cardboard castle from us.  That was honestly what they were most excited about!

Christmas Eve Jammies

Christmas Eve Jammies. We gave the kids matching snowflake jammies this year and they each got a pair of slippers. Claire got Unicorn slippers and Peter got dragon slippers. Peter was so tired and not in the mood for pictures so this is the best we got!
